Objective:
Non-Consumable Materials:
1. Marcato Atlas 150 Pasta Maker. Cost $99.00 US.
2.10 inch Extra Long Dough Pastry Scraper. Cost $16.00 US.
3. 1 Cup Measuring cup. Cost $5.00 US.
4. Stainless Steel Baking Sheet
5. 304SS Lemon squeezer
Consumable Materials:
- 1.5 C. (300g) Flour
- 4 Tbsp. Oil.
- 2 egg whites.
- 0.5 Tbsp Lemon Juice
- 0.5 Tsp Salt
- 0.25 C. Water
- 4 Apples
- 0.5 C. Sugar
- 1 Zest of lemon.
- 0.5 C. Raisins.
- 0.5 C. Nuts, Walnuts and Almonds.
- 1 egg.
- 4 Tbsp. Butter
- 1 C. Cream
- 1.0 Tbsp. Sugar
Procedure:
- Add all flour ingredients except butter.
- Knead vigourously, 5 minutes plus, and set aside.
- Peel and cut apples thinly.
- Add sugar.
- Add zest of 1 lemon.
- Add raisins, then let bowl sit for 0.5 hour.
- Roll dough, use setting #8 on the Marcatto.
- Cover with butter.
- Add nuts on all surfaces.
- Scoop in filling in a lineon one end.
- Roll and properly seal ends while rolling.
- Place on pan and cover with beaten egg.
- Place in 350F oven, and baste with butter until golden brown about 40 to 50 minutes.
